Her distinct voice, often recognized for its unique tone in Girls Aloud, was the key to her eventual success.  As Queen Bee, Nicola also impressed with her showmanship and stage presence. 

After winning, she revealed that taking part in the show had allowed her to explore a different side of her musical abilities, marking a significant personal and professional achievement.
